FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Two cars crashed south of downtown Friday, taking out a light pole in the process. A pole displaying the sign for Williams Street and two traffic lights came down at the intersection with Calhoun Street around 9 a.m. Fort Wayne Police and an ambulance at the scene of a crash Friday, Oct. 4, 2024. Pole down at Calhoun and Williams streets Friday, Oct. 4, 2024. Fort Wayne Police, an ambulance and a fire truck responded. Traffic was slowed on Calhoun as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Only minor injuries were reported.
