DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Broncos are debuting their 1977-inspired "Orange Crush" uniform for the first time, along with a new field design.
The Broncos face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, which is also alumni weekend in Broncos Country. Throughout the weekend, the team will honor the 1977 Super Bowl team in a few ways, one being the coveted throwback jersey which fans have long awaited.

The throwback jersey was the last to be released in the newly designed uniforms. At first, many fans weren’t impressed by the new uniforms as they were hoping for a throwback resembling the “Orange Crush” uniforms. Less than an hour later, the team released what fans wanted.
Sunday is one of two games the team will wear the throwback jersey, honoring when Denver beat the Raiders in the 1977 AFC Championship Game. But that's not the only change this weekend.
The Broncos will also be playing on a field inspired by the 1977 team. It will be painted to look like it did on Jan. 1, 1978, when the Broncos advanced to the franchise's first Super Bowl. Here's what it will look like:

The end zones will be painted blue with "BRONCOS" painted across it. Meanwhile, unlike the current field design, there won't be a midfield logo.
