A man in Caldwell was arrested on a warrant for weapons and narcotics. CBS2 reports according to Caldwell Police just before Operation Safe Streets members arrested 32-year-old Fernando Juarez, in a parking lot in the 2800 block of Franklin Road, Juarez fled in his vehicle. Police attempted to stop Juarez using stop sticks and successfully punctured his tires. Juarez evaded the Police despite the punctured tires and drove on his rims, reaching 50 miles per hour. Police successfully used a PIT maneuver on South Indiana Avenue south of Karcher Road forcing Juarez’s vehicle into a cement irrigation ditch, after a short standoff Police were able to arrest Juarez. Police found a firearm and drugs in Juarez’s possession.
