BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Bakersfield Animal Control is hosting a drive-thru vaccination and licensing clinic for dogs at Silver Creek Park Saturday, according to organizers. The clinic is open to city residents from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct. 5. at 711 Harris Road. Each dog license comes with free microchips for your furry friend. Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra’s 93rd season begins Saturday Animal control officials say the line may be cut off early due to limited spaces, so be sure to arrive early. Your dog must be on a leash and you will need to take your dog out of the vehicle so staff can safely vaccinate.
