BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Kern County residents are invited to participate in this year's One Book Project, featuring All You Can Ever Know: A Memoir by Nicole Chung. The memoir dives into complex themes of multiracial adoption, ethnicity, identity and cultural heritage. The county wide reading initiative encourages participants of all ages, from children to adults to join in through curated reading lists, including fiction, nonfiction, poetry, picture books, and graphics novels. You can get involved by joining the online One Book Project Reading Challenge on Beanstack, where you can earn digital badges and prizes by completing reading activities. The One Book Project will host a variety of events throughout October into November, ranging from author discussions and documentary screenings to dance showcases and panel discussions. For additional information, visit  kernlibrary.org or the Kern County One Book Project Facebook page.
