(WSPA) — The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office has released images to the community to show the current state of Chimney Rock. ‘Damage is unimaginable’ in Chimney Rock after images show half of village wiped out The sheriff's office posted the following on their Facebook page: "As the entire county recovers from the devastation of Hurricane Helene, the following images from boots on the ground. Images don't do justice but this is the best way for us to display the devastation in the Chimney Rock area."
