VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A home in Visalia caught fire on Thursday afternoon after a gas leak on the property, officials say. According to the Visalia Fire Department, firefighters responded to the leak in the 2500 block of Bradley Street around 4:45 p.m. On their way to the property, they were informed that the leak had ignited a fire. Once on scene, firefighters say they found a ruptured gas line on fire in the front yard of the burning home. It is unknown whether anyone was home during the incident, but at this time, no injuries have been reported. The Visalia Fire Department says about one dozen homes on N. Bradley Street will be without gas while the leak is repaired. Residents can expect repairs to be complete by 3:30 a.m. on Friday.
