HS Girls Soccer Wrap: Trenton snaps 25game skid with win over Paulsboro

PAULSBORO — One long losing streak is history.
Gabriella Smith scored a hat trick to lead the Trenton High girls soccer team to a 6-0 victory over Paulsboro on Thursday afternoon.
The Tornadoes (1-9) won for the first time this season and snapped a 25-game losing streak that dated back to the 2022 season.
Angelie Pacheco, Allison Flores and Zunica Zubah also tallied goals for Trenton. Sophia Lima Santos had a pair of assists, while Lemia Brown-Johnson, Sonjay Baylor, Yenifer Mancia and Flores also picked up assists.
Oliva Darden got the shutout with seven saves.
Paulsboro dropped to 0-9
Rancocas Valley 3, Allentown 2
RANCOCAS — The Redbirds (6-3-1) came up short in a non-conference game against the Red Devils (3-6-1) despite goals from Isabelle Knott and Amanda Hoglund. Grace Sawaged and Joanna Martin staked the home side to a 2-0 lead and Abigail Ondo restored a two-goal cushion in the second half.
Notre Dame 5, Montgomery 3
SKILLMAN — Reagan O’Mara scored twice to give her four goals in the last two games, Isabella Lynch also had a pair of goals and the Irish (6-4-1) won their fifth straight game by defeating the Cougars (7-3). Savannah Bryant also scored for ND. Emma Radley, Grace Seamon and Sofia Bohn had the goals for Montgomery.
Hamilton West 5, Wilberforce 0
HAMILTON — Kyara Catro Gamboa and Ava Riley both scored twice, Isabella Conte was also on target and the Hornets (3-8) blanked the Wolverines (1-1). Carissa Scelza made six saves for the shutout.
