Man fatally shot by at least one deputy in Loma Linda

A man was fatally shot by at least one San Bernardino Sheriff’s deputy in Loma Linda on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Around 4:30 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call in the 26300 block of Snowden Avenue, where a “lethal force encounter” occurred after making contact with the man, the sheriff’s department said.
The man died at the scene. No details about him were immediately provided.
No other injuries were reported. Information on the type of call for service or circumstances leading up to the use of lethal force was not released.
