If you live in an apartment building and plan to shop the online retailer's sale next week, or if you want to get a head start on holiday shopping, make sure to leave specific delivery details. If you drive through Honolulu, chances are high you'll see an Amazon delivery van pass by. However, the company stated that its delivery vans currently cover only certain areas on Oahu. "That is not what we have here in Hawaii; it's purely a distribution center where boxes that are already packed arrive, and it’s like the post office. They send the boxes to Kona, Ewa, Wahiawa, or wherever." She noted that it's not just Amazon deliveries that are taking longer; all packages are experiencing delays due to a significant demand for delivery drivers.
