(NBC) — NBC’s missing person drama "Found" returns for a new season this week, and it does so in a new time slot. It is now on Thursdays, right after "Law and Order: SVU."   Sir, the kidnapper who had the tables turned on him, spent most of the first season of “Found” locked up in a basement, but he escaped. In the finale's closing moments, the show’s main character, Gabi Mosely, tried to warn her sister Lacey Quinn as Sir watched just feet away. At the beginning of the season, Mosely is convinced her sister is dead. “I don't think that Gabi or the audience thinks Sir would make an idle threat,” said show star Shanola Hampton, who plays Mosely. “And he specifically said, ‘I will kill Lacey if you blow this thing up’ and then it blew up.” Also imploding is Mosely's missing persons team after she admits what she had been doing to the man who once abducted her. “The undercurrent is, how do we work together, having been betrayed, can we rebuild the company?” said Kelli Williams, who plays Margaret Reed, Mosely's lead investigator. “Everything comes into question.” Including why Sir is so obsessed with Mosely. “It's something he can't explain,” said Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who plays Sir. “He has this connection that might seem one-sided, maybe it's not.” “It's funny it mirrors offscreen, that co-dependency, that need to be around such a person like myself, so it's been really easy to play,” joked Hampton. The bigger question is how Mosely's and Sir's connection evolves in the second season of “Found.” The season premiere of "Found" airs Thursday at 10 p.m. on NBC4, right after the season premiere of "Law and Order: SUV.”
