BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Buffalo man was charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot a female victim in the leg Wednesday while on parole and probation, the Buffalo Police Department announced. Officers said they responded to the shooting call on the 100 block of Butler Avenue around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, officers found the 21-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. She was taken to ECMC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect, an alleged known male, was identified. He was located and apprehended on the 100 block of Inn Keepers Lane in Amherst. 22-year-old Jaylan Holliday, who was on parole and probation at the time of the shooting, was charged with the following: second-degree attempted murder first-degree assault second-degree criminal possession of a weapon first-degree reckless endangerment His court ordered GPS monitor was cut off following the shooting, police said.
