OAKHURST, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - There will be a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction of Madera Community College's and State Center Community College District's new campus in Oakhurst. According to officials, this new campus will allow them to expand their presence in the Oakhurst community, to grow their academic offerings to students and continue to serve students on their education journey. Members of the public are invited to attend the ceremony. Officials say the groundbreaking ceremony will be on Oct. 4, at 10 a.m. at 40800 Westlake Drive in Oakhurst.
