34yearold man arrested for child pornography in Porterville, police say

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 34-year-old Porterville man was arrested after a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informed detectives of a resident who had uploaded a media file containing child pornography, according to the Porterville Police Department.
Detectives say through the investigation they identified 34-year-old Marty Joe Clayton Lester as the person who was uploading and downloading child pornography.
According to officials, an arrest warrant was signed for Lester, as well as a search warrant for his residence.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, police detectives and members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force responded to his residence in Porterville in the 800 block of South Crystal Street around 7:15 a.m.
Officials say they contacted Lester at the residence and collected a variety of electronic devices as evidence for further forensic analysis.
Police say the 34-year-old was arrested for suspicion of distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography, and sexual exploitation of a child. He was later booked into the Tulare County South County Detention Facility, where he is being held without bail.
