BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – People in Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Santa Fe counties can get discounted Uber rides to and from the 2024 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. From 10 a.m. on Oct. 4 through 6 p.m. on Oct. 13, residents can open the Uber app and enter the code "BALLOON24" under the vouchers section to receive up to $10 off two rides. The program has a limit of 2,000 trips available on a first-come, first-served basis. This initiative aims to reduce the incidence of driving under the influence during Balloon Fiesta. “We encourage all residents to take advantage of this program during Balloon Fiesta,” Interim Bernalillo County Manager Shirley Ragin said in a news release. “By providing easy access to safe rides, we can help ensure everyone enjoys the festivities responsibly.”
