(WGNO) — Four Florida men have been arrested after St. Tammany Parish detectives allegedly recovered fentanyl during a Slidell traffic stop on Saturday, Sept. 28. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reported that narcotics detectives pulled over two cars registered in Florida heading west on Interstate 12 near Slidell. Investigation underway after shots fired at federal agents in New Orleans East During the stop, STPSO detectives, Homeland Security Investigations officials and a United States Border Patrol K-9 performed a search and allegedly found 11 pounds of fentanyl in one of the cars. The men inside the cars were reportedly traveling from Florida to Louisiana. Cruz faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (fentanyl), possession of Schedule I CDS (marijuana) and improper lane use. TikTok star Mr. Prada arrested, charged with murder in death of Louisiana therapist Cintron faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (fentanyl) and littering. Stridiron faces a charge of possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (fentanyl). Lizardo faces charges of possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Fentanyl) and turn signal required.
