EDINBURGH, Ind. -- Police have arrested a 13-year-old accused of making threats toward a middle school in Edinburgh. The Edinburgh Police Department said a 13-year-old boy was arrested Thursday after posting alleged threats aimed at Edinburgh Middle School. Police did not provide any specific information related to the alleged threats. EPD said the student was detained and transported to the Johnson County Juvenile Detention Center. EPD said it would not provide any additional comments as the investigation into the incident continues but urged the public to always report any suspicious activity. "Edinburgh Police and Edinburgh School take any threats very seriously and the police will make arrests and forward charges to prosecutor’s office for all credible threats. Just a reminder for all. If you see or hear something, please report it," EPD said in a news release.
