Hunters who choose to submit a sample will need to do so with 100 grams of both muscle and liver tissue, about the size of an adult thumb. In addition, they'll need to provide the harvest location details such as GPS data or the nearest address/intersection. Samples must be wrapped in aluminum foil and placed in a zipped and closed bag. They may be dropped off at the chronic wasting disease kiosk in Rhinelander. Samples will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and hunters will get the results of their samples within 2-4 months.
