I was rummaging through my old pics file and ran across a real treasure. Remember Spooky the Pumpkin from Spooktacular? It's been a while, but I sure miss that sweet Halloween gourd. Anyhoo... We are a mere 28 days to Halloween, so I should probably call my daughter and start planning this year's costumes. Enjoy this "corn maze" kind of weekend! TONIGHT:   The skies will be clear, and the winds will be light and variable at calm to 10 mph... the perfect Fall night.  The low will drop to 62, 58 in the valley. FORECAST:  Friday will be sunny but windy as another "cool" front blows in.  The east winds will range from 10-25 mph with stronger gusts on the west slopes.  A slight dusty haze may be possible by Friday afternoon, and the high will be 90.  The winds will die down for Saturday leaving us with a perfect day.  Enjoy a high of 88 and light, variable winds. Sunday will be sunny and warmer with a high of 91.  By Sunday evening, the winds will begin to pick up and gust on the west slopes of the mountains. Monday will be sunny but windy on the west slopes as a "cool" front blows in.  Monday's high: 87. Tuesday will sunny with light winds and a high of 86.  Wednesday will be sunny and breezy with a high of 88.
