CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating a shooting involving an officer in north Charlotte. It happened in the 1300 block of West Sugar Creek Road near the I-85 exit. CMPD said no officers were injured, but it is conducting an officer-involved shooting investigation. West Sugar Creek Road is closed in both directions between Reagan Drive and Flowes Drive/The Roman Road. People are asked to avoid the area at this time. This is a developing story.
