WASHINGTON COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Traffic on Interstate 81 South was at a standstill in Washington County after a tractor-trailer overturned and spilled paint across the highway Thursday morning. Details are limited; however, early Thursday morning all lanes on I-81 South at Exit 2 were blocked off. Maryland Department of Transportation officials said the east and westbound exit ramps from I-70 onto I-81 South were also shut down. Police: ‘Georgetown College Park cuddler’ arrested in connection to sexual assaults in DC, Maryland Crews are working to determine if the paint is water or oil-based. At this time, it is unclear when I-81 will reopen. Drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes until the crash is cleared.
