ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The driver who allegedly hit and killed a pedestrian on Lyell Avenue has been found, according to the Rochester Police Department. Rochester police said the adult man was in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle heading west on Lyell Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, the victim was pronounced dead. His identity has not been revealed. The striking vehicle was not at the scene. RPD said they found the driver and vehicle. No charges have been filed against the driver at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
