11yearold crashes mom's Ford into semitruck in Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An 11-year-old boy allegedly took his mom’s Ford Explorer in central Fresno and crashed into a semi-truck early Thursday morning, according to the Fresno Police Department.
Police say around 6 a.m., officers responded to Valentine Avenue and Holland Avenue for a traffic collision.
When officers arrived, they found an 11-year-old boy at the scene of the collision.
According to police the juvenile took the keys to his mother’s Ford and left the house. While driving, the front end of the Ford collided with a semi-truck.
No injuries were reported and the juvenile’s parents were contacted. The juvenile was released to his parents on scene, according to police.
