Oct 03, 2024
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Madame Tussauds has closed its San Francisco wax museum at Fisherman's Wharf. According to a banner posted on the museum's website, the San Francisco location is "now closed."
The website provided no further explanation as to why the museum had closed and referred visitors to the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas or Hollywood locations.
The business closed on Aug. 3 after more than 10 years.
"After careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to close this attraction," a Madame Tussauds spokesperson said. "We've supported our team members through this transition, including advice on career opportunities at other attractions across our wider family of attractions. We are immensely grateful to our guests, teams and the community for their unwavering support over the last decade."
