(BCN) -- The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office issued an evacuation warning early Thursday morning in the census-designated place of Redwood Valley due to a wildfire in the area. The fire hit the area of Road B and Ricetti Lane, the Sheriff's office said around 1:20 a.m. Residents were advised to be ready to evacuate at any moment with their belongings and check on their neighbors. Motorists were told to avoid the area. Another day of hot weather for the Bay Area There were no further details about the wildfire given yet. Around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, Mendocino County officials also issued an evacuation warning for Elledge Ranch Road, due to a wildfire near state Highway 20 and Potter Valley Road.
