MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) - The family of a young woman who was severely injured in an incident near the Little Apple's bar district in August has posted a large cash reward for information on the situation. The woman is from the Wichita area. The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) posted to social media on Wednesday, Oct. 2, that the family of a woman hurt near Aggieville on Aug. 30 has posted a $10,000 reward for those who bring information forward about how the woman was injured. People can contact police in Manhattan by calling 785-537-2112. Police spokeswoman Ashley Tokoi said the woman is out of the hospital following the incident. Investigators currently have no evidence of how the woman was injured. "We are currently still waiting on the results of tests and are again asking the public if they saw anything on the night in question," Tokoi said. Beyond the Call works to fill gaps and keep Wichita firefighters healthy Police have made no arrests in connection to the incident yet and do not believe there is any threat to the public. The RCPD does encourage people to travel with others, especially when moving to and from the entertainment district in Manhattan.
