RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A 19-year-old Chesterfield man has been charged with murder in connection to the killing of a 26-year-old Richmond man that occurred in early September. Police said 19-year-old Kelvin Eduardo Amaya Salamanca of Chesterfield County has been charged with murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. At 12:41 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, officers were called to the 1700 block of Broad Rock Boulevard for the report of a shooting. When officers, arrived, they found 26-year-old Walter Daniel Anariva Ramos of Richmond lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Ramos was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
