RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Good Morning Richmond Anchor Delaney Hall and StormTracker8 Meteorologist Matt DiNardo are back in the livestream studio for another episode of Great 8 Events, highlighting an eventful weekend ahead in the Greater Richmond area. This week's episode features the 64th Armenian Food Festival, highlighting the rich culture of Armenian cuisine. The festival will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5 at St. James Armenian Church, located at 834 Pepper Avenue in Henrico County. The festival is free and an event for the whole family. Some of the food guests can expect to enjoy include a hye burger, kabobs and hummus. Other events taking place this Saturday include the OystoberFest at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, the 21st Annual Richmond VegFest at Byrd Park and the Powhatan Festival of the Grape at Historical Courthouse Village. 8News Photographer Howard Williams stopped by the livestream studio to share some background history on the 2nd Street Festival, which will also take place this weekend. On Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6, the 2nd Street Festival will kick off for its 36th year, celebrating the history and culture of Jackson Ward. Guests this year are in for a treat with Grammy-award winning group Arrested Development hitting the stage on Saturday and Desiree Roots on Sunday.
