The plan to restart a reactor at Pennsylvania's Three Mile Island nuclear plant could be supported by a $1.6 billion federal loan guarantee for the project. Owner Constellation Energy signed a 20-year power purchasing agreement with Microsoft last month that would use the plant to power new data centers for the tech giant's development of artificial intelligence.
