PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A tragic incident occurred overnight in Pulaski County as a train struck and killed a pedestrian. The Somerset Fire Department reported on Facebook that they responded to the scene near West Columbia Street and Mill Street after Norfolk Southern reported a collision with a pedestrian on the tracks. When they got there, emergency responders utilized a drone to locate the victim. The Pulaski County Coroner was called to the scene and identified the deceased as 34-year-old Edward Yanicko. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
