KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A popular gas station in the Kansas City metro ranked second in a new study that found the best convenience stores in the nation, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index. QuikTrip was ranked the second-best convenience store in the nation in the new study. The surveys were conducted between March and September 2024. Pennsylvania-based Wawa came in first as the best convenience store with a score of 82%. QuikTrip came in second at 81%, and Buc-ee's tied for third place at 80% with Murphy USA. “Convenience stores are no longer just a quick stop for gas and snacks—they are becoming serious competitors in the food service industry,” Forrest Morgeson, the Director of Research Emeritus at the ACSI said.
