FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The latest ALDI location opened Thursday on Fort Wayne's north side. Shoppers were lined up outside the grocery store off Dupont Road well before the opening time of 8:30 a.m. Located at 10511 Dupont Oaks Blvd - near Mocha Lounge and Panda Express - it's the fifth location to open in Fort Wayne. ALDI will normally be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Representatives of the store said that on opening day, the first 100 customers would get a gift bag with ALDI products and a gift card through the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. The store also said it would be donating $1,000 to Community Harvest Food Bank. From Thursday to Sunday, shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for the chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.
