RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 22-year-old man has been arrested after a September shooting, says Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
RCSD says on Wednesday, Sept. 25, deputies were called to apartments at 508 Longtown Road where they found two men lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
Deputies determined that the two individuals are acquaintances who became involved in an altercation with one another that turned physical, according to RCSD.
Kenyon Peters was arrested on Oct. 3, without incident by the Richland County Fugitive Task Force in Elgin in relation to the September 25, shooting.
Peters is charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime and assault & battery of a high and aggravated nature.
He will be booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
