Two retailers are opening in The Village of Cross Keys this week: Ruxton Mercantile and Bluemercury.Ruxton Mercantile is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3. Like the original location at 7625 Bellona Ave. in Ruxton, the modern general store in Cross Keys will feature housewares, accessories, men’s and women’s apparel, gifts, and apothecary and wellness products. It’s located in the Village Square courtyard along the east breezeway, across from Cece’s Roland Park’s outdoor dining area.Bluemercury, a retailer of hair, makeup and skincare products, will open its only Baltimore-area location with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4.  Its store is next to the main entrance to the Village Shops in the mixed-use community at 5100 Falls Road.With locations across the country, Bluemercury pioneered a client-first service model that emphasizes “hyper-personalized, high-quality beauty interactions” and features “a highly curated and premium product assortment across a range of beauty categories.”After the ribbon cutting, the first 120 shoppers who spend more than $250 at Bluemercury will receive a grand opening Gift with Purchase, valued at more than $300.
