St. Gabriel church announced it will honor the military, police, sheriff’s deputies, fire and rescue, and all other first emergency responders at a Blue Mass taking place at 7 p.m. Nov. 7. The whole community is invited to show gratitude and love for those serving the community and the country, according to a news release. The event will thank God for their service with special readings and music for the protection and safety they provide. Organizers ask that all safety forces and military come in dress uniform attire. The church is located at 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road in Concord Township.
