ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Police are searching for the person who beat a man with a baseball bat on Lyell Avenue. Officers responded to Lyell Avenue and found a man in his 40s with non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment. The victim told RPD that he was approached by at least one suspect who struck him with a baseball bat. No suspects are in custody as the circumstances behind the assault are under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
