BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A man has been arrested in Richmond in connection to the killing of two people in Brunswick County whose bodies were found on Sunday. At 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 37-year-old Joseph Lee Powell was arrested without incident in Richmond by the U.S. Marshal Service with help from the Richmond Police Department, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office. The woman who was found dead has been identified by officials as 48-year-old April Melissa Thomas of Richmond.
