PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - A multi-vehicle crash caused delays on VA-164 near Towne Point Road Thursday morning. According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the east left shoulder and left lane remain closed on VA-164 near the ramp at Towne Point Road due to the crash. As of 7:10 a.m., traffic backups are approximately 1.5 miles. Traffic camera shows a large presence of emergency vehicles and a large backup leading up to the crash.
