Fairfax County Emergency said that a fiber line issue was causing the problems. Montgomery County receives federal funding for safer roads If you are unable to call 911, officials said you should text instead. You can also try another cellular provider if that is available or call from a landline or business phone. As of Wednesday evening, there was no estimate for when service would be fully restored.
