Padres catcher Kyle Higashioka kicked things off with a solo homer in the second inning, followed by two RBIs each from third baseman Manny Machado and centerfielder Jackson Merrill. Joe Musgrove exits early with apparent injury in Braves-Padres game Padres starting pitcher Joe Musgrove, an El Cajon native, left the game early in the fourth inning due to an apparent injury. The Padres move on to play the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLDS Saturday at 5:38 p.m.
