(KRON) -- BART's service was disrupted Wednesday night due to what it described as a "major medical emergency." The Fruitvale and Lake Merritt stations in Oakland both closed, BART said. There are delays on the Berryessa line in the Dublin/Pleasanton, Berryessa, Richmond and Daly City directions. The 73, 1T and 62 AC Transit buses can be taken as alternatives. BART said the power was cut at the Lake Merritt station due to the medical emergency at the Fruitvale station.
