KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Royals are moving on in the postseason after sweeping the Orioles in the American League Wild Card Series. The Royals lost 106 games last season but used a 30-win improvement to get back to October for the first time since winning the 2015 World Series. Game 1 will take place Saturday, Oct. 5 in New York at 5:38 p.m. CT. Game 2 will also be in New York and take place Monday, Oct. 7 at 6:38 p.m. CT. Game 3 and if necessary, Game 4 of the ALDS will take place at Kauffman Stadium. Game 5, if needed, would take place back in New York.
