Wisconsin pastor arrested for allegedly sending intimate photos from victim's phone without consent

KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in southeastern Wisconsin are conducting an investigation on a 41-year-old pastor for allegedly transferring intimate photographs without permission.
According to a release, the Kenosha Police Department opened an investigation into 41-year-old Gabriel Mills, a Journey Church pastor.

The investigation stems from Mills allegedly transferring intimate photographs without permission from the victim's phone to his own.
Mills reportedly borrowed the victim's phone and proceeded to search through it until finding intimate photos of the victim. He then sent the pictures to his phone without consent.
The Kenosha Police Department arrested Mills on Sept. 30, 2024. On Wednesday, Mills made his initial appearance in court, where he was charged with two counts of capturing an intimate representation without consent. Mills was hit with a $7,500.

"It is possible that other members of the Journey Church congregation, their affiliates, or other members of the community have been victimized," said the Kenosha Police Department. "As we move forward with our investigation, Detective Eric Traxler is asking for anyone with information related to this case to please contact him at 262-605-5223."
Mills is expected to return to the Kenosha County Courthouse for his preliminary hearing on Oct. 9, 2024. No additional details were provided.
