EBRSO deputy accused of sexual abuse involving minors arrested

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office arrested an East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputy accused of first-degree rape and misdemeanor sexual battery.
Nicholas LoCicero, 38, of Denham Springs was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree rape and one count of misdemeanor sexual battery.
"What I can tell you is that during our investigation, detectives obtained forensic interviews from the juvenile victims who named Nicholas LoCicero as the violator," said Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard.
Search warrants and arrest warrants were executed. According to LPSO, detectives are working to provide support for the victims in this case.

According to EBRSO, LoCicero was hired in June 2022 and spent the majority of his employment in uniform patrol. He was placed on administrative leave after EBRSO was notified of the allegations.
LoCicero was terminated on Wednesday evening before his arrest, according to EBRSO. This is an ongoing investigation.
