On A Roll at Beresovksy’s Deli The sandwich collaborations at Navy Yard’s Jewish-styled deli continue this fall, with an October version combining two cold-weather comfort foods: pho and French dips. The “Pho-Rench” Dip ($14.99) from acclaimed chef Kevin Tien (Moon Rabbit) includes sliced brisket with yuzu mayo, soy-marinated daikon, jalapeño, cucumber, and Thai basil, all served on a toasted baguette with a rich pho broth on the side to dip into. 1201 Half Street SE Sweet Addison’s at Union Market This sweet pop-up opened up in bustling Union Market last week with healthier cookies and sweet treats that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and include no refined sugars. Addison LaBonte, a baker who removed gluten from her diet after being diagnosed with compartment syndrome, came up with the balanced cookies during her health journey. The pop-up will sell chocolate chip cookies, triple chocolate cookies, vegan chocolate chip cookies, lemon cookies, fudge brownies, and more till October 6. 1309 5th Street NE Extended Summer Pop-Ups: Tropicalia Summer Soiree Cocktail Garden at Mercy Me The back patio of Mercy Me is still a tricked-out tiki bar with live, local music ranging from Brazilian samba to smooth jazz starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. The pop-up will continue till October 10. 1143 New Hampshire Avenue NW “Emily in Paris” at Morris American Bar The Mount Vernon Square cocktail bar partners up with Netflix and Pernod Ricard to bring the infamous Emily Cooper — the perky Chicago heroine that moves to Paris for her marketing career — to D.C. From August 2 till November 1, the bar is designed to look like a glamorous version of the City of Lights, complete with themed cocktails and “Emily in Paris” watch parties. A 12-foot Eiffel Tower sits outside the door, round marble tables outside form a sidewalk café, and the baby-blue walls are dotted with framed photos of Paris and Emily-esque artwork. Morris American Bar is also creating cocktails with limited-edition Lillet, a wine-based aperitif by Pernod Ricard. 1020 7th Street NW
