Penn State running back Nick Singleton was not seen at practice Wednesday during the brief period opened to the media. After practice, Nittany Lions football coach James Franklin was asked about Singleton’s absence and said the media member was wasting a question. Then he said he had nothing to share on Singleton. “Not at this point,” Franklin said. Singleton, the former Gov. Mifflin star, met with beat writers Tuesday on Zoom. He leads Penn State in rushing with 408 yards and three touchdowns and has caught six passes for 74 yards and two scores. He ranks sixth in the nation with 7.70 yards per carry and 14th in all-purpose yards with 139.5 per game.
