Syracuse, N.Y. — A 19-year-old male pleaded guilty Wednesday to having an unregistered short-barreled rifle, prosecutors said.Benjamin Wheeler, 19, of Norwich, admitted in his plea to having the rifle in his Norwich apartment in August, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York.
