Park City seeks residents to help plan for the town’s future

Park City Municipal announced Wednesday that it is seeking residents who can help ensure its recently launched effort to update its General Plan is a success. Last updated in 2014, the General Plan is the community-driven blueprint that shapes the future of Park City, according to the city. The General Plan outlines 10 neighborhoods. To help the City to learn about specific challenges and opportunities, Neighborhood Advisory Committees comprising three volunteer residents from each of those areas will form to facilitate neighborhood meetings.Park City residents living in one of the following neighborhoods are encouraged to apply:Bonanza Park/SnowCreek
Lower Deer Valley
Masonic Hill
Old Town
Park Meadows
Prospector
Quinn’s Junction
Resort Center
Thaynes
Upper Deer ValleyTo review neighborhood boundaries click here.The General Plan update is expected to take 10 months, and committee members should expect to serve a few hours a month until on the conclusion of the project.
