1 man dead, 1 injured after reported shooting Wednesday in Perris

One person died and another was injured after a reported shooting Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 2, in Perris.
Deputies responded around 3:12 p.m. to the area of Navajo Road and 4th Street, west of the 215 Freeway, where a 911 caller said a man had been shot, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
When they arrived, deputies found the man and transported him to a hospital.
They also located another man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s department did not immediately specify the man’s cause of death.
No arrests have been made, and deputies were at the scene investigating the situation.
