HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The third annual Dachtoberfest is happening at the Richmond Raceway Complex this weekend, where people will be able to celebrate everything Dachshund. Dachtoberfest -- organized by the Dachshund Enlightenment Foundation (DEF) -- is coming to the Richmond Raceway Complex in the Old Dominion Building (600 E Laburnum Ave) on Oct. 5 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event will include activities like wiener dog races, costume contests, vendors, food trucks and more. Kids 10 and under are free and parking is free as well.
